DCCEEW is preparing a budget bid for the 2025-26 NSW Budget to fund a range of new and continuing activities related to the NSW Water for the Environment program and is seeking services to develop a detailed business case to support the proposal for submission to NSW Treasury in early February 2025. The business case needs to be fully compliant with NSW Treasury guidelines set out in TPP18-06 NSW Government Business Case Guidelines and using the Lean Business Case template ( Part B – Att C). A near final Draft Business Case is required by 9 December 2024. A Final Business Case, incorporating Senior Executive, Minister’s Office and initial NSW Treasury feedback is required in mid January 2025. Further review in Feb-May 2025 may be required at agreed day-rates following DCCEEW submission of the Final Business Case to NSW Treasury on 7 February 2025 and during the 2025-26 budget process (estimated April-May 2025).
