Mackay Regional Council is seeking to undertake civil, landscape and electrical construction in Canelands Park as part of the Bluewater Trail extension off River Street, Mackay .
Council has previously undertaken bulk earthworks, roads and drainage construction and water main and irrigation installation as part of the establishment of a relocated River Street to service the new parklands to be established and the increased scale of the Canelands Development. The works proposed under this project complete and complement the previous works resulting in a finished recreation precinct bordering the river frontage.
