A project to be undertaken

The Principal is seeking tenders from appropriately qualified and experienced organisations for the de-sedimentation of Blue Lake Jenolan Caves. The works include: testing for reusability assessmentThe controlled removal of previous storm-deposited sedimentThe transport and stockpiling of materials to Car Park 2 (CP2)The haulage and stockpiling to 5194 Jenolan Caves Road using the designated Two-Mile Road access route The Works also include all associated temporary access arrangements, traffic management, erosion and sediment controls, environmental protection measures, and the safeguarding of platypus habitat and other ecological and heritage features as required by the approved Review of Environmental Factors (REF). The Contractor is responsible for undertaking the Works in accordance with the technical specifications, environmental conditions, and directions issued by the Principal, and must reinstate all disturbed areas on completion.Refer to attachment A- The Works and attachment B- Civil Specification for more detail of the proposed Works.
