Provision of Mustering and Removal of Wild Stock (Goats) from QPWS Managed Areas within South West Region of Queensland

The Queensland Government is seeking Expression of Interest from experienced individuals or companies to muster, yard, care for and remove wild stock (goats) from QPWS Managed Areas of Mulgalands/ South West Region, so that goat numbers in these areas can be substantially reduced allowing other methods of integrated control to occur.

The successful contractor will be entitled to:

• claim ownership of the stock not lawfully identified and claimed by a third party;
• dispose of said stock as the contractor determines;
• retain any proceeds or profits from the disposal of the stock, pending departmental approval of potential royalties, as outlined below.

The Department of National Parks, Sport and Racing will have no obligation to reimburse the successful contractor for any cost incurred in undertaking the above activities.
