Description

Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) propose to engage a single or multiple commercial training suppliers to deliver fire management training to QPWS operational personnel and fire management partners.

It is possible that the training courses within the program although interdependent, could be delivered by a variety of suppliers. As such, the department will reserve the right to award a contract to one or more suppliers should it be deemed advantages to QPWS.

Supplier/s should demonstrate their capability to offer, as a minimum, one of the training courses required by QPWS and demonstrate sufficient capacity to deliver multiple repetitions of this course at various locations within Queensland over the duration of the contract period.

The QPWS internal fire management team will support the successful supplier/s with logistical arrangements for the delivery of the training and provide subject matter expertise where required. Offerors are encouraged to thoroughly peruse the DES20453 – Provision of Fire Training Program documents and ensure any offer addresses all relevant aspects pertaining to the scope of works and specifications.

The complete contract requirements are specified in Schedule 1 of the Contract Details document.
