Description
The AMEP is the Australian Government’s largest settlement program which has been administered by DIAC (or its predecessor Departments) since 1948.
The AMEP is integral to DIAC’s suite of settlement services and plays a major contribution in facilitating the social inclusion and economic participation of migrants and Humanitarian Entrants in Australian society.
DIAC seeks to engage suitably qualified organisations to provide settlement focused English language tuition, citizenship courses and other settlement services to eligible migrants and Humanitarian Entrants through AMEP General Services, and Distance Learning Services.
