Description
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) represented by the Overseas Property Office (OPO), is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) responses from suitably qualified and experienced Head Works Contractors (HWC) interested in working with DFAT to deliver a permanent property solution for the Australian High Commission in Funafuti TUVALU.
DFAT’s proposed delivery strategy is a Design and Construct model (delivery method and contract form) with a Head Works Contractor, to develop and deliver the permanent property solution using offsite construction.
The permanent property solution includes a two-bedroom residence, Chancery, outdoor areas and supporting engineering services. DFAT is proposing offsite manufacture (prefabrication) in Australia and transport to Funafuti for site works and installation.
The scope of this project includes all associated activities; prefabrication of the building in Australia, shipping, demolition of existing structures on site, civil works and carparking, services/utility connection, onsite construction and landscaping.
