Kalgoorlie-Boulder Racing Club (KBRC) Irrigation System Upgrade

The racecourse irrigation works shall include, but is not necessarily limited to, the following:
(a) Connection to existing discharge pipework outside and downstream of existing pump and filtration
station at the approx. location shown on the drawings.
(b) Supply, installation, warranty and commissioning of all items described in the attached
specifications and drawings.

(i) All sprinklers, pipework, valving and associated fittings.
(ii) Irrigation control system.
(iii) All wiring and associated fittings
(c) The Contractor shall note that other contracts will be scheduled concurrently and must allow in their
tender pricing for the additional costs that arise for the liaison and coordination of their work with all
other contractors &/or sub-contractors on site.
(d) It is the responsibility of the Contractor to formulate and submit a quotation which shall encompass ALL
of the work and materials which is required to install the associated equipment and materials required
for the project works in a competent, professional manner and in accordance with standard industry
practice. Items of equipment, materials, labour etc. shall not be limited to the materials, equipment
and/or quantities noted in this documentation.
(e) This specification and associated drawings have been accomplished for the purpose of outlining to the
Contractor the extent of the works which are required by the Principal and the route and approximate
position and/or location of various elements of the project works.
(f) Component locations and pipe work routing are essentially diagrammatic and must be interpreted in
accordance with the scale of the drawing, standard industry practice and actual site conditions.
(g) Minor variations to equipment locations and pipeline routing will not be considered as variations or extras
to the Contract.
