GROUP BUYING ARRANGEMENT FOR THE PROVISION OF BULK FOOD AND GROCERIES (GREAT SOUTHERN REGION)

This Request specifies the requirements of a Group Buying Arrangement (GBA) for the supply and delivery of food and groceries to specified locations in the Great Southern Region.

Respondents may offer to supply one or more locations within the Region.

Supply under the resulting Contract will be predominantly for the following Customers:

• WACHS-Great Southern (primarily regional hospitals);
• Department of Education (primarily agricultural/residential colleges);
• Department of Corrective Services (Albany and Pardelup Prisons); and
• Great Southern Institute of Technology.

The Contract will be non-mandatory for Public Authorities, however, other Public Authorities in the region may also utilise the Contract.

The Contract is divided into seven (7) main food categories. The Contract Authority shall appoint a Panel of Contractors for the supply of goods in each category. Respondents may bid for one or more categories and are invited to offer a ‘discount rate’ to the recommended retail price for food and groceries in the relevant category.
