Description

The Public Transport Authority (PTA) seeks the services of a highly experienced and qualified service provider(s) to provide Transperth bus services in two contract areas being; Midland (including Midland Shuttle) and Morley (including Circle Route North). The existing contracts for these services all expire on 19 April, 2014 with the two new Contracts, the subject of this Request for Tender (RFT), commencing on 20 April, 2014.

The Contract terms for the Midland (including Midland Shuttle) and Morley (including Circle Route North) contract areas are 10 years and have a common expiry date of 19 April 2024.


Pre-Tender Briefing
A mandatory Briefing Session will be held for all potential Tenderers at 2.00pm on Friday 5 July 2013 in the Theatrette, Level 2, Public Transport Centre, West Parade, Perth. At this Briefing Session, Tenderers may be provided with clarifications and information not included in the Tender Document.

Tenderers who fail to attend or be represented at the mandatory briefing session shall not be eligible for consideration under this Request for Tender.


Site and Bus Inspection
Mandatory Site and Bus Inspection Sessions will be held for all potential Tenderers commencing at 8.30am on Saturday 6 July, 2013 at the Malaga Bus Depot. The sessions will roughly follow the following format with full details being issued closer to the time:

  • Malaga Depot, 51 Truganina Road, Malaga 8:30 am 9:45 am
  • Bayswater Depot, 12 Chalkley Place Bayswater 10:00 am 11:00 am
  • Ellenbrook Depot, 38 Comserv Loop, Ellenbrook 11:30 am 12:15 pm
  • Midvale Depot, 16 Rothschild Place, Midvale 12:45 pm 2:00 pm
  • Mundaring Depot, 38-54 Wandeara Crescent, Mundaring 2:30 pm 3:00 pm

These sessions will provide Tenderers with an opportunity to inspect all the Bus Depots available under this contract and to view the majority of the Approved Buses.

Tenderers who fail to attend or be represented at the site and bus inspection shall not be eligible for consideration under this Request for Tender.
