Beerwah State School Canteen and Senior Playground Upgrade

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of the Canteen and Senior Playground Upgrade project, located at 2788 Old Gympie Rd, Beerwah QLD 4519.

The Canteen and Senior Playground Upgrade Project consists of new epoxy flooring, stainless steel benches, joinery, glazing, handwash basin, oven, adjustable shelving and demolition of an existing playground structure. The position of the building is in the centre of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by 30 June 2021.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1,000,000.00

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
