The Safeguard Certificate Estimator is an online tool that helps users determine eligibility for generating Energy Savings Certificates (ESCs) and Peak Reduction Certificates (PRCs) and estimate the number of certificates from compliant activities. It includes functionality for activities under both the ESS and PDRS rules, with technical support from OpenFisca-coded rules, an SQL database, and Azure Virtual Machines, and requires periodic updates to align with rule changes and stakeholder feedback.
