The Fitness and Wellness Centre (FWC) - Request for Early Contractor Involvement Fees

The University of Queensland (UQ) is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified building contractor with previous experience in design, construction and cost management to progress the feasibility and future delivery of its new Fitness and Wellness Centre (FWC) at the St Lucia Campus in Brisbane.

The successful tenderer will be appointed to generally provide appropriate resourcing and inputs to support Concept Design, Schematic Design, Cost Estimates, Siting Approval, development of the Principal’s Project Requirements (PPR) and completion of the final business case (written by UQ).

The successful tenderer, at the end of Stage 1, will be asked to provide a cost plan and corresponding tendered Target Total Construction Sum that will be relied upon by UQ as the maximum sum for funding approval and for all future stages, on a not to be exceeded basis.
