Strathpine West State School - OSHC Refurbishment and extension (with design responsibility)

The Department of Education is inviting tenders for Strathpine West State School. The works include Design and Construction and generally comprise of:

The Works generally comprise the Design & Construction of:

• Demolition of all works marked up on the supplied drawings
• Services investigation prior to construction
• Disconnection of all services and made safe prior to any demo works
• Construction of all new internal walls
• All new linings as per schedule/drawings
• Removal of old windows, and the installation of new as per DoE standards
• Installation of Balustrading and handrails (to be Hot dip Gal)
• Installation of all Electrical, data, and fire service requirements (please refer to drawings and DoE standards)
• Prep and paint of all new surfacers
• Compliant PWD toilet
• All new toilets as fixtures as per the drawings and DoE standards
• Construction of outdoor covered decking area
• Supply and installation of compliant timber ramp and stairs
• Installation of sandstone seating arrangement around timber ramp and deck.
• All required certification including CoC, Structural and all Form 15’s and 16’s

Site Visit details: Recommended site visit on Monday 28th February 2022 at 10:00am - please meet outside the Administration Reception. Please confirm attendance by 12pm on Friday 25th February 2022. Tenderers will not be able to visit the site outside this arranged time so please invite relevant subcontractors to assist in pricing.
