JABIRU ISLAND BOAT RAMP DESIGN, APPROVALS AND CONSTRUCITON

The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for GCWA 57600-02 JABIRU ISLAND BOAT RAMP DESIGN, APPROVALS AND CONSTRUCITON.

It includes but is not limited to the following:

• All required planning, investigations and reports to design and construct the Works as well as to apply for permits and approvals and meet WUC
• Development and provision of all management plans and associated documentation.
• All required design and specification development for the Works.
• Ensure all design and construction is generally in accordance with the reference design and specification included in this Specification.
• Obtaining all permits and approvals for WUC. Obtaining statutory approvals (if required) for WUC;
• All labour, machinery, and equipment necessary to successfully complete the Works.
• Demolition of the existing recreational boat ramp structure.

• Construction of a new larger boat ramp with 2 x 4m (TMR Specification boat ramp) vessel launching lanes. Note: The boat ramp should be built to the Transport and Main Roads specification MRTS300 Boat Ramps and tie in neatly with approach pavement. The Design differs from standard TMR specification in that precast deck planks extend all the way to HAT are required for improved traction.

• Any other items of work which is obviously and indispensably necessary for the successful completion of the Works.
