52266 First Aid Civilian Qualifications, Lifeguard & Basic Life Support Training CPR/AED

The Commonwealth is seeking to engage the services of Registered Training Organisations for the Australian Defence Force, for the provision of the following services:

a. First Aid Civilian Qualifications;

b. Lifeguard and

c. Basic Life Support Training CPR/AED.

The Royal Australian Navy Physical Training Employment Category (PTI EC), Training Authority Aviation (TA-AVN), Training Authority–Engineering (TA-ENG), Training Authority – Initial Training Leadership and Management (TA-ITLM) and RAN Recruit School (RANRS) are required to maintain “Provide First Aid” – HLTAID011, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - HLTAID009 and Pool Lifeguard - SISSS00133 training. These three qualifications are in accordance with the approved ANP5117-4 – Physical Training Instructor Mastery Career Pathway. Throughout their career, Physical Training Instructors (PTI) are required to maintain currency in the PTI Annual Skill Set. “Provide First Aid and Pool Life Guard” are part of these mandatory requirements.
