Duress & Nurse Call System Headend Upgrade for Graylands Hospital Existing Questek System is at end of life and no longer supported. The Questek system and in particular the Careview program has come to end of life. There are two ways forward and that is replace the whole system or upgrade the head end to Alexys Aptus pro which operates with your existing Questek backend hardware. (all the field cabinets and call points) Why- your current Questek system is no longer being developed or factory supported and the Questek main control board may not operate correctly with current windows systems, so we would recommend to upgrade the system to current technology as in Alexys Aptus Pro which is backward compatible with all the backend Questek hardware. This means you can progressively changeout the system without the need to replace everything up front which saves any large capital outlay. The Alexys system will allow the Graylands campus to utilise the existing infrastructure and provide additional features such as reports to provide staff and residence printouts. Should the Alexys be adopted then your system will be operating on the latest software and operating systems which in turn allows better technical support as the mainstream technical resources are familiar with current technology not old.
