Description
The Department of Agriculture and Food Western Australia (DAFWA) require a cost effective Real-Time PCR detection system for the analysis of Indel markers for wheat, barley and lupin. The Product is important to DAFWA as it will be used in both pre-breeding and breeding programs for genetic map construction, fine-mapping of important genes and studies of genetic diversities of economically important crops. The platform will provide a molecular marker service for the InterGrain barley breeding program and other potential breeding programs operating in WA. It is also a key technology for the barley and wheat pre-breeding research projects.
