Airstrip and fence lines rehabilitation - Bandilngan National Park
Details
Description
Bandilngan (formerly Windjana Gorge) National Park is located 145 kilometres east of Derby and 151 kilometres west of Fitzroy Crossing in Kimberley.
During the January 2023 wet season flooding, the entire airstrip and surrounding area was inundated by 900 -1,000 mm of flood water and sustained considerable damage. The Department requires the services of a suitably qualified Contractor to undertake:
Refurbishment of the damaged airstrip. Supply and installation of airstrip marker cones, in accordance with the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Western Operations
Supply and installation of a windsock.
Grading of the fence line fire breaks.
