Description
The Rottnest Island Sea Wall is of great historical significance having been originally constructed some 150 years ago. The wall has been the subject of scrutiny, investigation and piecemeal refurbishment over the years with present Rottnest Island Authority records dating back to 1999. The stability of the wall is in question and this project aims to eliminate the main two sources of disruption for the wall’s length; being lateral soil active pressure and the impact of tree roots.
