Description
Public Transport Authority (PTA) seeks the services of a multi-disciplinary Lead Design Consultant (LDC), “the Consultant” to complete the concept and reference designs for:
- Rail Operations Control Centre (ROCC) building located at East Perth which will accommodate the Train Control Centre (TCC) and Centralised Signalling Equipment Room (CSER) required for the Automatic Train Control (ATC) project;
- Infrastructure required to service ROCC such as power, communications and other utilities;
- Backup Signalling Equipment Room (BSER) located at Burswood; and
- upgrade of existing Alternate Train Control facility (ATCF) to accommodate ATC.
The design will be accepted by PTA in two stages to align the key deliverables of the contract (i.e. concept design and reference design reports) with the PTA’s Engineering Management for Projects Procedure and PTA’s Project Management Framework (PMF).
