Description

The Department of Primary Industries, Water & Environment invites submissions from suitably qualified and experienced consultants to develop hydrological models for selected catchments within the National Action Plan for Salinity and Water Quality (known as NAPSWQ) region. The project will establish daily surface water balance and routing models of the National Action Plan (NAP) region catchments. The models will also [rovide an integrated and more informed approach to the reliable allocation of water for human uses, industry and the environment. The targeted catchments under this project are as follows: Prosser, Coal, Jordan, Macquarie, South Esk, North Esk, Pipers, Little Forester, Great Forester, Brid, Tomahawk, Boobyalla and Ringarooma. The consultancy will also provide training in hydrological modelling to Departmental hydrologists.
