Details

Awarded

Description

The decision has been taken to commission an engineering assessment of the status of the Bridgewater Bridge, with the aim of confirming that there are material issues with the Bridge that means its operational life is limited, or, if this cannot be confirmed, to provide the expected life cycle costs for maintaining the existing structure into perpetuity. If the latter occurs it is hoped it will provide the basis for a new base case for the business case.
