Gender Equality Action Planning Tool

The Workplace Gender Equity Agency (WGEA) seeks to understand the current landscape of existing technologies for the supply, support and maintenance of an ‘action planning tool’ that can be used to assist WGEA in the drive for workplace gender equality.

We anticipate the tool will allow organisations to answer a short questionnaire with probing questions relating to the status of workplace gender equality within their organisation. The responses will then be used to generate personalised action plans. We are, however, open to other approaches.

The Action Planning Tool requires the ability to:

(a) be utilised by the following:

(i)organisations that submit a report annually to WGEA

(ii)organisations and individuals that do not report to WGEA

(b) ability to create and maintain a menu by WGEA specified category (6 gender equality indicators)

(c) hold and maintain a library of questions

(d) hold and maintain a library of actions that can be recommended based on the responses to the questions provided to the tool

(e) map a library of actions to question responses

(f) hold and maintain a library of templates for the action planning document that will be provided to organisations

(g) generate customised plans on how to improve gender equality in the workplace based on the response mapping

NOTE: This tool is intended for organisations to use as a standalone product. WGEA does not intend to receive or retain any data.
