RFT for the provision of assessment services under the My Aged Care provider specialisation verification program

Aged care providers claiming to specialise will apply to have these claims verified in line with the evidence criteria set out in the Specialisation Verification Framework, a near-final draft of which has been published within the report: Review and development of a specialisation verification framework for My Aged Care – Final report. Using the criteria set by this framework,the Contractor will assess evidence submitted by aged care providers in support of their claims to specialise in the delivery of services to people identifying with the Special Needs Groups, to determine if requirements are met. This will then be reflected in the My Aged Care ‘Find a Provider’ tool. The activity will be undertaken over the period from commencement to 30 June 2024. Aged care providers are anticipated to be able to apply to have their claims verified from 1 June 2022.
