KIC used to hold its ICT infrastructure locally; however this is now hosted by Alexandrina Council with the exception of our MITEL VoIP controller and necessary LAN equipment. KIC has a main office in Kingscote, a main works depot just out of Kingscote, a depot at Penneshaw, the Airport, and the refuse station managed by FRWA. All locations except the Penneshaw depot are linked by microwave, the hub of which is located on a council owned tower on the Northern side of Kingscote. Penneshaw depot uses a 4G modem to connect to the private IP network.
Council is seeking expressions of interest for the ongoing support and management or our ITC infrastructure and associated software needs.
