Description
The RAN is in the process of developing experience in the use of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) from ashore and from ships to further develop RAN UAS operations at sea. The RAN is seeking to procure a VTOL (Vertical Take Off and Landing) MTUAS and associated engineering and logistic support. The primary role of the MTUAS is to extend and enhance the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance capabilities of the parent unit or ship, to increase situational awareness using a variety of sensors.
