Services of a Network Engineer

The Health Support Services (HSS) is leading the Critical Health ICT Infrastructure Program (CHIIP) which will uplift the network infrastructure across WA Health to reduce the risk of cyber-attacks and data loss and ensure the highest level of network security to protect patient records and business data. Background: Health Support Services (HSS) is four (4) years into the delivery of CHIIP Phase 2, which aims to: Uplift end-of-life network infrastructure and address network infrastructure security vulnerabilities across more than 460 WA Health sites; Improve network reliability, further enhance patient care and safety, and enable the future of digital initiatives within WA Health including Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Program; and Address the Office of the Auditor General’s General Computer Control audit findings related to network security for all of WA Health. CHIIP is now in Phase 2, Stage 3, and has commenced the total uplift of and service transition to a more contemporary network infrastructure with managed services support. The uplift and service transition works are expected to continue for the next three years CHIIP are seeking a Network Engineer for a role, with demonstrated expertise in proactively resolving issues and engaging effectively with stakeholders.
