Coolangatta State School - Block D Refurbishment and Block B New Wall

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of Block D Refurbishment and Block B New Wall at Coolangatta State School, located at Stapylton Street, Coolangatta, QLD, 4225, as part of the School Infrastructure Enhancement (SIE) program.

The scope comprises the internal refurbishment of the existing classroom Block D including internal strip out and asbestos removals, new internal partition walls, new suspended ceilings/lighting/fans, new floor and wall coverings, new joinery and new kitchenette. External works include perforated screens, external step ramp and provision of level access to each classroom; plus a new solid wall to Classroom Block B to provide acoustic separation between classrooms.

All works are to be completed before the start of term, January 2024.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1,000,000.00
