QPAC Courtyard Toilet Upgrade

Suitably qualified tenderers are invited to tender for works to upgrade the existing Courtyard Toilets at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre improving the amenities to accommodate expanding patronage in the Cascade Court, whilst completing the other mechanical, hydraulic and electrical works. The objective is to improve the amenities to accommodate expanding patronage in this space and have all works completed by 23 December 2011.

A summary of the deliverables are;
 Refurbish the Courtyard public toilet and ground floor staff toilet facilities;
 Install the Ground Floor staff office kitchenette including equipment;
 Complete related mechanical ductwork modifications to car park ventilation and toilet exhaust systems; &
 Complete associated hydraulics and electrical services related to the above works.

A Mandatory Industry Briefing will take place at 10:00amsharp on Wednesday 2 November 2011 at 31 Merivale Street, South Brisbane, which will be followed by a work site inspection. Tenderers must advise of their attendance as per sub clause 2.3.1.5 of the Additional Provisions to Tender document by 3:00pm on Tuesday 1 November 2011.

Note:Tenderers are required to have a PQC Level 1 for this project.

Where a PQC Level is stated, the Principal is not obliged to provide tender documents, consider or accept a tender unless the tenderer is appropriately registered under the Queensland Government’s PQC System for that PQC Level (or higher) and categories which the tender is invited (inclusive of meeting the specific project’s criteria assessment as conducted by the agency under the PQC System).

Those tenderers who notify their intention to attend the Mandatory Site Industry Briefing, will receive an acknowledgement of their briefing registration once the agency’s Contact Officer clarifies that the tenderer has met all the project criteria under the PQC System. Those who do not satisfy all the criteria will be advised to seek further clarification through the PQC Registrar. Following that clarification, those tenderers who still do not qualify will not be eligible to attend the briefing or submit an offer.
