Insurance Brokerage and Advisory Services

Queensland University of Technology (QUT) invites Offers for Insurance Brokerage services to implement the University’s general insurance program as provide well as day-to-day support/ advisory services.

The program is designed to meet the current and emerging insurance requirements of the University. Once appointed, the Insurance Broker will ensure annual placement and/or renewal of the appropriate insurance policies required to protect the interests of the University and to provide the associated day-to-day operational and advisory support. This includes the development of a comprehensive and cost effective insurance program which aligns with QUT’s current and future needs as more specifically identified in the Brief to Respondents.

The estimated timeline for this RFO is as follows:

• RFO issued: Tuesday 9 April 2019
• RFO closes: Monday 29 April 2019
• Evaluation process finalised: May / June 2019
• QUT Services Agreement signed: June / July 2019
• Transition Period: July to October 2019 (shadowing incumbent supplier who will put the 2019/2020 program in place)
• Commence brokerage services: 1 November 2019
