RPQ0108 - Register of Pre-Qualified Suppliers for Dry Hire of Construction or Site Plant and Equipment

Tenders are invited to establish a Register of Pre-Qualified Suppliers (RPQS) for Dry Hire of Construction or Site Plant and Equipment (without an operator).

Documents are available from the Queensland Government QTender website at www.hpw.qld.gov.au/qtenders.

Tenderers must be registered with the Queensland Government QTender site to be able to download documents, request information and submit a Tender.

Suitably endorsed Tenders close at the below website address at 2pm on 1 October 2019. In accordance with s228(8) of the Local Government Regulation 2012 (Regulation), Council may decide not to accept any tenders it receives.

In accordance with s288(9) of the Regulation any accepted tender must be the one deemed most advantageous to Council. It is noted that the lowest price tender may not be the most advantageous.

All Tenders must be submitted via the Queensland Government e-Tender Website https://www.hpw.qld.gov.au/qtenders

Respondents are invited to submit tenders for one (1) or more of the following categories:

• Access Equipment, including: scissor lifts, knuckle booms, or elevated work platforms;
• Compaction Equipment, including: self-propelled compaction tools and machinery;
• Concrete Equipment, including: non-hand held cutters, mixers kibbles, breakers, and surface preparation equipment;
• Earthmoving Equipment including: backhoes, excavators, graders, water carts, and front end loaders;
• Generators & Power Equipment, including: trailer mounted, and power distribution equipment;
• Lighting & Signage, including: balloon and lighting towers, and variable message boards;
• Material Handling, including: forklifts, cranes, conveyors, and telehandlers;
• Propping & Shoring, including: props, shoring boxes, and hydraulic shoring;
• Pumping, including: trailed-mounted pumps, and pumping accessories;
• Site Equipment & Storage, including: road barriers, site fencing, portable buildings, and containers;
• Miscellaneous construction equipment, including: specialised equipment and other items; or
• Hand held and Portable Tools, including: chainsaws, drills, portable generators and other hand held or portable tools.

This RPQS will be established for an initial period of two (2) years, with the option of two (2) by 12 month extensions.
