Consultancy Design for the Welshpool Depot New Assembly Workshop

The PTA have identified an opportunity for expansion at the Welshpool Depot site, to allow for advance operations and increased productivity. There is a large, uncovered area of the site which could be better utilised for storage and other processes. Additionally, the signals team has advised of the need for a dedicated and permanent office space on site for ongoing operations ? all that is currently existing is a temporary site office. A high-level concept design has been completed for the redevelopment. The PTA are seeking a design consultant to continue design investigations and develop this design to ?IFC? stage ? ready for construction. The PTA engineering team has developed a project-wide requirements specification for the project. This specification outlines the detailed requirements for the design and delivery of the project. It is incumbent upon the Consultant to ensure compliance with these requirements. The Scope of Services for this project is divided into two stages: Design and Construction. The Consultant is responsible for providing all necessary management services, including project management, project control, invoicing, reporting, and other tasks throughout the entire duration of the consultancy contract, all within the fixed lump sum.
