Maximo Application Suite (MAS) Implementation

South East Water is one of Melbourne’s three state-owned metropolitan water retailers. We provide water, sewerage, trade waste and recycled water services for residents and businesses in Melbourne’s south east, located in the state of Victoria, Australia.

South East Water need to be on an evolving and supported version of Maximo (MAS) in order to meet South East Water’s Asset Management objectives and obligations. IBM have announced that no more development will done for the Maximo 7.6 product and regular support will cease on September 30, 2025.

South East Water are currently on version 7.6.1.3 on premise and have made the decision to move to cloud with this upgrade to MAS.

We are looking to appoint a suitable, qualified Supplier to provide the following for South East Water.

1. Provision and support of MAS v9 in cloud. Cloud instance may utilise either:
   1. Supplier nominated cloud environment (SaaS) (Fully Managed MAS SaaS)
   2. South East Water Azure Cloud (PaaS hosted in Azure AKS) (South East Water Managed PaaS)
2. Transition services from our current on-premise Maximo V 7.6.1.3 to cloud MAS v9
3. Uplift of South East Water operational staff in management of MAS and ongoing support for both MAS and cloud instance.
