A project to be undertaken

Project Overview The WPCA is tasked with the design and delivery of the Bradfield City Centre – creating a dynamic new place for people to live, work and learn. The Bradfield City Centre comprises a total land area of 114.9ha of land located at 215 Badgery’s Creek Road. The first phase of creation involves the delivery of approximately 20 hectares in the western portion of the site. Concurrent Engagements As part of the first phase of City creation, several concurrent activities are occurring involving a number of consultants that have been engaged or are in the process of being engaged. The main engagement that the Sewer Pump Station and Stormwater Infrastructure Consultant will interface with is the First Stage Enabling Works Head Consultant. The First Stage Enabling Works Head Consultant will provide the following services: • Civil Works: Site gradings, earthworks, road pavements, piped and open stormwater drainage and coordination with streetscape landscaping. • Water Utilities: Potable and recycled water reticulation mains, and stormwater network for non-potable water uses. • Digital Smart City: Providing for all the digital plumbing including pits and pipes, smart poles and connections to the future communication data centres • Electrical Utilities: Providing for all the electrical reticulation network to service the wider precincts with Bradfield City Centre. • Waste: Design of a dedicated organic food collection pressure pipe system and collection tank for all the organic food waste to enable waste to energy opportunities. The collection tank will connect to the sewer pump station for overflow discharge. Services under this Engagement The following design work and construction phase services are envisaged to be managed and delivered by the consultant: • Stormwater Design: detailed modelling for all aspects of precinct wide stormwater quality and quantity to allow the concept design of the stormwater management strategy infrastructure for the entire Bradfield City Centre. Detailed design of Parkland West aspects of the stormwater infrastructure along Moore Gully. Detailed design of Parkland East aspects of the stormwater infrastructure along Thompson Creek. • Technical Advice: provision of technical advice and design solutions for options (allow consideration of 2 options) for servicing Bradfield City Centre’s recycled water demand from utilising on-site stormwater.
