For the provision of fit out works at the Australian Passport Office, Level 13 Casselden Place, 2 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne VIC 3000

The proposed works to the existing Australian Passport Office are inclusive of, but not limited to, the following:

• Minor demolition and, where necessary, removal of existing office partitions;
• Minor alterations to existing plasterboard and glazed office partitions;
• Demolition and removal of existing workstations;
• Coordination of the Building Management Contractors for the removal of existing carpet and replacement with new carpet (new carpet laying will be provided by the Building Management Contractors);
• Make good to ceilings (as and where required);
• Supply and installation of furniture, fittings and equipment including but not limited to furniture, workstations, compactus units, lockers and storage;
• Supply and installation of joinery units including modification to existing joinery;
• Coordination of workstation installation on site;
• Replacement and removal of existing perimeter Venetian blinds;
• Modification of existing mechanical services to suit new layout;
• Modification of existing electrical layout (power, data) in addition to the modification to the existing lighting layouts;
• Modification to the existing fire services layout;
• Builders Work in Connection (BWIC); and
• Staged construction process

The Contractor shall provide the following Services during the construction phase of the project:

• The coordination, management and supervision of the construction works in the existing occupied premises to ensure a safe working environment is maintained for all subcontractors and Australian Passport Office staff at all times;
• The coordination and management of all construction stages of the project;
• The coordination of Australian Passport Office staff during office relocations;
• The coordination, management and supervision the building management contractors (carpet removal and laying); and
• Liaison with Building Management for all requirements relating to the construction works including but not limited to material deliveries, permits to work, services isolations.
