The Flinders Ranges Council
Construction of Paved Footpaths - Quorn and Hawker
Details
Description
The Flinders Ranges Council invites tenders from respondents for the installation of paved footpaths within Quorn and Hawker. The work will include removal of existing surface treatments and replacing with new clay pavers, to be supplied by council, at locations as specified in the schedule.
As part of its streetscape master plan, The Flinders Ranges Council has identified sections of streets that will provide a crucial link to community facilities, this work will flow on from the upgrade work on Railway Terrace in Quorn as well as future work in Hawker.
In total, the project will see 6,650m2 of new paving laid to both townships. The schedule of quantities requires costing for removal, preparation and laying of the new pavers, there may be some scope for council staff to help in removal and disposal from time to time which would be agreed to by the principal and the succesful tenderer.
If you wish to only tender for a portion of the work e.g. to lay pavers only, council will still consider this in its assessment process.
We look forward to your submission.
