Tender for supply & delivery of two backhoes with trade-ins

Description
Council is looking to replace its two backhoe/loaders. The replacements are to be the same or similar:
1. Loader/backhoe to be traded is a Cat 428B, reg. no. VLU-194 purchased in Dec 1993.
Requirements are: clamshell bucket, quick release backhoe bucket, 2 beacon lights, air con,
radio, window tint.
2. Loader/backhoe to be traded is a Furakawa FL 35, reg no VEC-098 purchased in June 1991.
Requirements are: articulated unit with ROPS, 1 beacon light, no wider than existing unit (5ft),
suitable for cemetery work. Backhoe attachment to dig 2.6m (triple depth grave), capability to fill
in grave either by bucket (front end loader) or by larger backhoe bucket. Machine can be no wider
than 1.5m. Require a larger excavator bucket to aid in backfilling if no front end loader bucket
available. Skidsteer would need rubber tracks to minimise tearing of lawn and concrete edging.
No cabin required just ROPS.
