Description
The lighting and electrical infrastructure in Jetty Road Glenelg has been gradually upgraded over a number of years. The major portion (Colley Terrace to Gordon Street) was completed back in the early 1990s. Given the proximity of the marine environment these light fittings are now reaching the end of their asset life and need to be replaced with a fitting that is more robust and serviceable in this environment. The other section of Jetty Road (Gordon Street to Brighton Road) was upgraded last year to enable undergrounding of power and now requires new lighting to be installed. This section of Jetty Road has minimal lighting and will require new and improved lighting to be consistent with the remainder of the street.
