Description

DPaW requires the construction of three (3) information interpretation nodes (nodes) for Bicton Baths, Point Walter and Heathcote. The nodes are to be deck structures in keeping with the existing jetties at two of the sites. The nodes will link to the existing pathways and jetties and be shaped to create a multi-use space providing seating, viewing of the landscape and interpretation opportunities. Each node will be approximately 80 square metres in size. Adjacent existing access standards will be maintained while the nodes will meet universal access standards. The work will be supervised by DPaW staff or a nominated Superintendent, and the Contractor will be required to complete the works to the standards specified and within a three (3) month window from September 2015 to the end of November 2015.
