Description
Construction of the Mandurah Electric Railcar Depot Washing, Servicing and Inspecting Facilities as part of the Butler Extension Project delivered by the PTA’s Major Projects Uni.
The works generally comprises of:
The construction of a new Railcar Inspection & Servicing Facility including modifications to existing services, new services & service connections, new under track crossing & sleeves for new services, modifications to existing track/road drainage lines/culverts/pipework and installation of new bitumen track crossing of the Non-electrified Stowage Road; and
The construction of a new Railcar Wash, Brush & Rinse Facility including specialist wash equipment, modifications to existing services, new services & service connections, upgrade of existing waste water treatment system, new under track crossing & sleeves for services and modifications to existing fencing, carpark, paths & ‘smokers shed’.
