Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care
Workforce Analytics and Reporting solution
Details
Description
The Department is seeking a vendor to implement a commercial off-the-shelf system that will integrate data from disparate HR Systems and use the data to support comprehensive reporting and analytics capabilities
Understanding the department’s workforce, the roles people undertake and the capabilities, (or knowledge, skills and behaviours) they have now and those they will need in the future is pivotal in positioning the Department to best deliver its objectives and manage workforce related risks
The Department’s Corporate Plan states that one of the Department’s objectives is to increase the sophistication of data and evidence to support improved workforce analytics and planning. The implementation of a workforce analytics and reporting solution will support this initiative by:
Establishing a single, integrated quality source of health workforce and services data;
Reducing the manual effort required to produce the necessary workforce reports and analysis;
Increasing the scope and quality of workforce data to support better HR analytics and reporting;
Delivering improved analytic and reporting tools and capabilities to inform policy decisions and maintain resourcing obligations; and
Providing the Executive, Mangers and HR office with the necessary workforce insights to inform policy decisions and maintain resourcing obligations.
