WA Department of Child Protection and Family Support
Supply of SAP Business Objects Enterprise Software Licences and Maintenance
Details
Description
In May 2015, the Department for Child Protection and Family Support (CPFS) completed a review of its current use of Business Object (BOBJ) software as part of the ASSIST Solution. Based on its findings, CPFS has determined that an upgrade to BOBJ Enterprise Software is required in order to meet future business requirements.
Currently, CPFS has a block of 40 concurrent and 5 named user; BOBJ “Edge” licenses (Perpetual) which was purchased in 2006. CPFS now seeks the flexibility to, for example, purchase a block of up to 60 concurrent and 10 named BOBJ “Suite” or “Enterprise” licences with support to accommodate the increased user base. This will provide greater functionality from Business Objects software and the flexibility to purchase more licenses in the future at an agreed discounted price.
