Description
The Department, on behalf of the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC), is seeking proposals to undertake a multi-disciplinary planning study, as detailed in this Request for Quotation (RFQ). The intention of the study is to define robust regional road reservation requirements following the existing Rowley Road and Anketell Road alignments from Kwinana Freeway to Tonkin Highway. This will include preparation of road design concept plans (vertical and horizontal alignments) to accommodate road cross sections for four-lane divided roads suitable for construction of high level regional roads standard in the future. The study will also include the section of Thomas Road between Tonkin Highway and Anketell Road, which is currently reserved as an Other Regional Road in the Metropolitan Region Scheme.
