Provision of Broadcast Routing Switcher

The Parliament of Australia, Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) seeks a solution to replace aging technology used for the distribution of video and audio content of parliamentary proceedings. The Broadcast Routing Switchers are the backbone of the broadcasting distribution infrastructure within Australian Parliament House (APH) and have reached end of life. Supporting distribution infrastructure including video and audio distribution amplifiers, have also reached end of life. Replacement with new technology will ensure reliability of the current broadcasting services and enable migration of legacy systems to a digital infrastructure. The current broadcasting routing switcher is not high definition compliant, and is therefore inconsistent with relevant Australian television industry standards.
