Feral Animal Management, North Queensland

The project is required to protect native species and ecosystems on the Defence Estate by carrying out various feral animal management controls to eradicate or reduce the number of feral animals to a more environmentally sustainable level.

The scope of pest animal management work includes the following;
- Conduct ground/aerial surveys (as appropriate) of nominated feral animals to determine the population size and preferred habitat,
- Develop and implement a control management plan, and
- Develop a final report of works carried out including recommendations for future programs.
