Description
Council is inviting tenders for the design and construction of two (2) pedestrian bridges across tidally influenced tributaries which are incorporated as part of the “Tripcony Coastal Pathway”, Golden Beach. This pathway and both pedestrian bridges are a vital link in the Caloundra Coastal Path Network from Golden Beach to Caloundra CBD.
The first pedestrian bridge (Bridge No. 1 - Leach Park Bridge) runs from Leach Park, Golden Beach to Tripcony Caravan Park, Golden Beach.
The second pedestrian bridge (Bridge No. 2 - Tripcony Bridge) runs from Tripcony Caravan Park to the Coastguard building, Golden Beach.
The site is located within a sensitive environmental area and as such conditional requirements enforced by State agencies to undertake the works must be strictly adhered to.
