Ambrose State School - Replacement Amenities (Design and Construction)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a new amenities block to replace the existing amenities at Ambrose State School, located at 39 Gentle Annie Road, Ambrose QLD 4702, as part of the amenities program.

The works include providing a temporary toilet block for the duration of the works, the demolition of the existing amenities block and the design and construction of a new amenities block including all new services, walls windows, flooring, fixtures and fittings. New amenities block is to connect into the existing septic system and be in the same position as the current amenities block. The position of the building is at the rear of the school with good site access and working space. Works are required to start in the April school holidays and be completed by the end of June 2022. Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 million

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
