Mooloolah SS Amenities Upgrade (with Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of the Amenities Upgrade project at Mooloolah State School, located at 48 King Road, Mooloolah Valley QLD 4553, as part of the Shovel Ready program.

The Amenities Upgrade includes the Junior (Female/ Male), Senior (Female/ Male) and Staff Amenities as well as the Cleaner’s Storeroom. The Upgrade includes but is not limited to new FF&E, privacy screens, flooring, painting, lighting and signage. The position of the building is at the centre of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by October 2021.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 Million

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
