Description
As custodian of the State’s natural and cultural heritage, Queensland Museum (QM) houses a unique collection of several million objects. The Board of the Queensland Museum (the Board) is a statutory body and the legal entity created under the Queensland Museum Act 1970, responsible for the Collections.
The Board is required to comprehensively revalue the Collections every five (5) years to comply with Queensland Financial Management Act 2009 (QFMA), Queensland Financial and Performance Management Standard 2009, Australian Accounting Standards and Queensland Treasury Non-Current Asset Policies for the Queensland Public Sector (NCAP).
The Queensland Museum is seeking Proposals from a suitably qualified and experinced valuer and statistical analyst to assist QM with the verification and valuation of the Queensland Museum State Collection and Library Heritage Collection (‘Collections’).
